We are working hard on getting two releases out.

QQube for Desktop 11.0

QQube for QBO 1.0

We are actually working on these in tandem for a myriad of reasons:

  1. Optimization of existing queries in desktop
  2. Copy that optimization to the online when it is applicable
  3. Add some data models that will be available in both products
  4. Create a compendium of field differences between the two products.
  5. Web based QQube Configuration Tool

We have invested heavily in AI to assist in our production, although the frustration of constantly getting wrong information has slowed down the process.  But we must continue to push the envelope.

QQube for Desktop 11.0

The refresh times - especially for implementation of multi-company files, and large data sets - should see improvements of up to 25%.  In some cases we shaved off milliseconds, and in other cases multiple seconds.  Doesn't sound like much, but with over a hundred dependent queries on multiple company files, it can add up to minutes or even dozens of minutes.

With a large percentage of people on hosted servers, memory, cpu and hard disk usage need to be minimized - and especially when we have a hosted online version.

Two new data models:

  1. Combination sales and receivables
  2. Flexible period Statement of Cash Flows

And the requested auto-email for logs.

Release will be before September 1

QQube for QBO

We are meeting with Intuit to discuss two things:

  1. Getting Payroll information
  2. Metering issues with the new platform.

Payroll has been a request for almost 8 years.  While Intuit is exposing custom fields, and projects, payroll is still a problem.  They - just like us - have been promising, but not delivering, and we need them to finish the job.

Metering issues are putting us at a severe disadvantage because we may hit the same object several dozen times to retrieve the data.  Secondly the actual purchase rate vs downloads and trials is roughly 10 - 15%.  So our opportunity costs - unless we restrict - could be almost prohibitive.

As was the case in the desktop SDK, the API is designed for write products - not read only.

Release of field differences and data models is scheduled for August 15.

Release of beta is Nov 1.  Final Jan 1.

Release will be before September 1
