Overview
These are the global Crystal Reports settings used to create the examples included with the QQube Configuration Tool.
To open the settings, select File > Options.
Layout Options
Select the Layout tab.
Disable Snap To Grid
Clear the Snap To Grid option for more precise field placement. Crystal Reports will still help align fields when one is positioned beneath another.
Font Options
Select the Fonts tab.

| Text Objects | Objects used for typed report text. | 7 or 8 pt |
| Field Titles | Titles created automatically when a field is added to the Details section. | 7 or 8 pt |
| Charts | Chart labels. | 7 or 8 pt |
Why Smaller Fonts Are Recommended
Most reports contain at least six to eight columns. Smaller font sizes help those columns fit on one page in portrait orientation.
Leave clear spacing between columns. This improves readability even when the report uses smaller fonts.
Expected Result
Crystal Reports uses the recommended layout and font defaults when new fields, summaries, groups, text objects, titles, and charts are added to a report.
