Getting Started with Crystal Reports

Modified on Sun, 26 Jul at 3:47 AM

Overview

Each QQube data model is already configured for SAP Crystal Reports 2011 or later.

The underlying FACT and DIMENSION tables are linked, and the relationships are already established. You only need to open an example and refresh the report.

Start with a Crystal Reports Example

Open the QQube Configuration Tool and select SAP Crystal Reports under Examples.

The available Crystal Reports examples appear in the list. At least one example is provided for each data model.

Grayed-Out Examples

A grayed-out example means the required data model is not loaded or has a synchronization error. Review the synchronization log guide before opening the example.

Open and Refresh an Example

1. Confirm Successful Synchronization

Review the synchronization logs and confirm that the required data model loaded successfully.

2. Open the Crystal Reports Example

Double-click the required example in the QQube Configuration Tool.

For example, double-clicking sales_(qqube_10.x).rpt opens the prepared Sales report.

3. Refresh the Report

Press F5 to refresh the report with your QQube data.

You can then remove fields or drag additional fields onto the report canvas.
