Overview of the QuickBooks Cash Position Data Model
The Cash Position data model is a rudimentary attempt at cash flow forecasting, however true forecasting almost always manual input, e.g. capital expenditures, loan payments, exact payroll, etc., - which this data model is unable to contain.
It strictly lists on hand cash (bank account types), and open A/R and open A/P. The "as of" dates are all controlled in the QQube Configuration Tool.
