Pivot Table Change Data Value Option

Modified on Sat, 29 Jun at 1:42 AM

Overview

Since we are using dynamic ranges, you wouldn’t think that it would be possible to change a value within a dynamic data range, but there are times where this is not only possible, but desired.

In this example, we are using a Custom Field that had Blank Values (blank).

However, we may not want to see that in our report analysis.

So just click in any field that contains '(Blank)' and change the value to 'N/A'.  You will notice that all of the values previously showing ‘(Blank)’ will be changed to 'N/A' - all by changing only one cell with the '(Blank)' value.

These WILL remain, after you save the spreadsheet.  You will re-open, and then refresh with everything intact.
