Overview
A PivotTable based on a dynamic QQube data range can display (Blank) when the source field contains no value.
In some reports, replacing (Blank) with a clearer label such as N/A makes the results easier to read.
The following example uses a Custom Field that contains blank values.
Replace the Blank Label
1. Select a Blank Item
Click any PivotTable cell that displays (Blank).
2. Enter the Replacement Label
Type N/A and press Enter.
Excel changes every occurrence of that PivotTable item from (Blank) to N/A. You do not need to edit each cell separately.
The Change Is Preserved
After the workbook is saved, the replacement label remains when the file is reopened and the QQube data is refreshed.
What This Changes
The change updates the displayed PivotTable item label only. It does not write N/A back to QuickBooks or alter the underlying QQube source data.
Expected Result
All PivotTable items previously displayed as (Blank) appear as N/A, including after the workbook is saved, reopened, and refreshed.
