Overview
Excel provides two methods for sorting QuickBooks data in a QQube Dynamic List:
- Single-Column Sorting from the drop-down arrow in a column header.
- Advanced Sorting from the Data ribbon for sorting by multiple columns.
Single-Column Sorting
Sort the Complete Dynamic List
Select the down arrow in the header of the column you want to use for sorting.
The selected sort order applies to the complete block of QQube data, keeping every row intact.

Advanced Multi-Column Sorting
Use the Sort command on the Data ribbon when the Dynamic List must be sorted by more than one column.
Available Advanced Options
- Add multiple sort levels.
- Choose ascending or descending order independently for each column.
- Enable case-sensitive sorting.
- Sort from top to bottom or from left to right.

Choose the Appropriate Method
| Method | Use When |
|---|---|
| Single-Column Sorting | The list needs to be ordered by one field only. |
| Advanced Sorting | The list requires a primary sort and one or more secondary sort levels. |
Expected Result
The complete QQube Dynamic List is sorted without separating related values within each row.
