Overview
There are three sorting options within an Excel Pivot Table
- Sorting Data Blocks
- Sort by Other Columns
- Manually dragging an item
Simple Sorting
The whole data block can be sorted by clicking on the "Down Arrow" at the top of each column.
Advanced Sorting
Sort by other columns.
Manual Sorting
You can also sort manually in a pivot table, by dragging one cell in a particular column to another position in the column. NOTE: This will stay, even when you refresh the data.
