Account - Profit and Loss Dimension

Overview

The QQube Profit and Loss Account Dimension is a list dimension, and the fields are derived from the Account List in QuickBooks.


The Account Dimension includes pre-configured hierarchy levels for:

  • Name only
  • Description only
  • Name and Description
  • Number only
  • Number and Name


It also includes the necessary profit and loss hierarchies to construct a profit and loss statement and is used specifically for profit and loss data models.

Notes

The Account - Profit and Loss Sheet Dimension is specifically for Profit and Loss Sheet Summary data models.

PowerPivot and Power BI use a slightly modified balance sheet account dimension with some additional sorting fields.

Accounts have a maximum of 5 levels (0 thru 4 in QQube notation)
