Overview
QQube provides two ways to synchronize data: Automatic Scheduling and Manual Refresh. Choose the method that best fits how QQube is installed and how quickly updated data is needed.
| Method | Best used for |
|---|---|
| Automatic Scheduling | Multi-User installations and environments using the Multi-Company Add-On. |
| Manual Refresh | Single-User installations or situations where updated data is needed immediately. |
Important
The scheduled synchronization uses the data models selected in Available Data Models. It does not use the selections in the Manual Refresh area.
Automatic Scheduling
Automatic Scheduling is the preferred method for Multi-User installations and multi-company environments. You can choose the days and time when QQube should synchronize.
For most organizations, one scheduled synchronization each day is sufficient. Avoid scheduling QuickBooks backups or other maintenance processes at the same time.

Clear all data on synch start
Use Clear all data on synch start when a complete reload is required. This is commonly needed after QuickBooks accounts or customers have been merged.
Do not enable this option for normal daily synchronization unless there is a specific reason to reload all selected data models.
Advanced scheduling options
Advanced scheduling options provide additional control over how the scheduled synchronization runs.

Company scheduling options
In a multi-company environment, company-specific options let you control which files participate in scheduled synchronization and which files require a complete reload.

- Exclude an older company file from scheduled synchronization while keeping its existing QQube data available.
- Reload selected company files from scratch without applying the same setting to every company.
Scheduled synchronization only
Company scheduling options apply only to scheduled synchronizations. They do not control Manual Refresh.
Manual Refresh
Manual Refresh lets you start a synchronization immediately and choose the company files and data models to include.
In a Multi-User installation, Manual Refresh can be started from a client Configuration Tool and will control the synchronization performed by the dedicated server synchronization user.
In a Single-User installation, the QuickBooks user who is currently signed in can limit the data that QQube is permitted to extract.

Reload all data from scratch
Use a complete reload after an abnormal synchronization interruption, a manual abort, or when directed by CLEARIFY Support.
- Select Run all.
- Select Clear all data on synch start.
- Start the Manual Refresh.

Expected result
QQube will synchronize according to the selected method, company files, and data models. Scheduled and manual selections remain independent so each process can be configured for its intended purpose.
