Overview of the QQube Configuration Tool

Overview

The QQube Configuration Tool is the central control mechanism for all things related to our product.  It controls data availability, synch operations, licensing, and applicable examples.

In a Multi-User environment, options available in Sections [1], [6] are performed where the actual data synch occurs, e.g. while logged into the dedicated synch user (called [qqubesynch] in a remote desktop server environment, or the admin console in a local network environment.

In a Single-User environment everything is performed under the user where you installed it.

[1] Data Sources

Lists your QuickBooks files and other data sources.

This section gives you control over:

• Range of dates to be extracted from QuickBooks
• Dates ranges for certain QQube data models
• Setting "As Of" Dates in QQube for A/R, A/P, Current Trial Balance
• Calendar Dimensions date ranges
• Defining Holidays for QQube data models

All things related to the synchronization process in QQube.

Every data model as at least one example out of the box for the following applications:

The Database option is primarily for IT personnel and is only available where the data synch actually takes place.
