Advanced Extraction Tuning

Modified on Fri, 21 Jun at 3:58 AM

Overview

Chunking value refers to the size of the blocks of data that are extracted from QuickBooks and is a function of the Intuit Software Development Kit (SDK). Larger chunks speed up the process, but also take up memory - and in some cases too much memory, depending upon the stored details for a certain type of transaction.

We set a particular value based upon years of experience, and what we know will work in 99% of all cases to achieve maximum speed, and accuracy.

However, there are times where the average number of lines in a transaction exceed the typical use in a QuickBooks environment and causes the synch to error out.  Typically, we find this in either Sales Orders, Journal Entries or Purchase Orders. To address these cases, we have provided an advanced panel to reduce the chunking size, and eliminate the synch error.

These settings are only to be changed when specified by our support team.  Do NOT attempt to change these without specific instructions to do so.

A Synchronizer Tuning option becomes available, for you to change the value as specified by our Help Desk Support
