Overview
Advanced synchronization logging provides additional technical detail for troubleshooting. Enable it only when requested by a CLEARIFY Support engineer.
Use this feature only when requested
Advanced logs can become very large. Follow the steps below and attach the saved text file to your existing support case.
Enable Advanced Logging
- Open the QQube Configuration Tool.
- Select Synch Logs in the left navigation.
- Hold down the Ctrl key.
- While holding Ctrl, double-click the words Synchronizer Log Entries at the top of the window.
- Confirm that a plus sign appears to the right of Synchronizer Log Entries. The plus sign indicates that advanced logging is enabled.
Run the Synchronization
Run the synchronization that reproduces the issue. Wait for the synchronization to finish before opening the log.
Save the Verbose Log
- Open the completed synchronization log.
- Select Verbose Logs.
- Save the log as a text file.
- Attach the text file to your CLEARIFY support case.
Do not use Send to CLEARIFY Support
Do not use the Send to CLEARIFY Support button for an advanced log. The additional detail may make the log too large to submit through that option.
