Single-User

Overview

A single-user can only be installed on a workstation - not on a server

Pre-Install Requirements

• Review the current requirements
• Ensure that you are not connected to a network where another QQube engine/implementation exists.
• Must install under the user who will be using QQube, and the user must be given  administrative rights (you can change later to regular user). You cannot right click and "Run as Administrator".

Installation Choices

Double click on the qqubeinstall.exe to begin the installation. Download the latest version here.

If Excel is installed on the workstation, this will be available:

This is the default installation folder and should not be changed.

The following window will begin the file copy and component installation.

Overview of Administrative Permissions

If you are an IT professional and installing this on a workstation where the user does NOT normally have administrative machine permissions, understand that the user will not have the ability to start or stop the database service, but will still have the ability to perform all other functions, including adding and removing QuickBooks companies, and fixing synch issues.
